Paint Quart Gift Cans

Here are pictures of what I came up with last night instead of working on my ornaments and gift basket. My mom called me and said she needed something to give her hair dressers for the holiday. She told me one is a tea drinker and the other is a hot cocoa drinker. So this is what I came up with: each can has 4 hot chocolate packets (2 dark chocolate and 2 marshmallow), 7 tea bags, 2 cranberry drink pouches, 2 lemon ice tea drink pouches and 2 iced tea drink pouches, a handful of Hershey kisses with little round labels on the bottom, and a handful of mints. My mom loved them!

Christmas is approaching FAST!

WOW! I can not believe Christmas is right around the corner. My 15 yr old daughter and 5yr old son have just finished decorating our tree and it looks GREAT! Now all that is left is cooking, cooking and more cooking.
We do Christmas Eve diner at my house every year and this year I have decided to give all the kids money this year. (they are older and harder to buy for) This year though there is a twist, they will have to find their gifts on the tree. I am working on making them all chocolate bar ornaments with their names on it and a personal message on the back. The chocolate bar ornaments are something very unique and different from the standard money or gift card, its personal with a sweet treat!
I am also putting the finishing touches on some gift baskets I put together for some teachers, and the office staff of our middle school.
